Arroz negro

El otro día os explicaba la fantástica tarde que pasé en el encuentro bloguero. También os expliqué que los organizadores hicieron una fantástica labor de comunicación y logística al contactar con marcas para que dieran a conocer sus productos y nos obsequiaran con ellos.

Hoy aprovechando que no tenía demasiado en la nevera que gracias a este evento, la despensa tiene la puertas que no cierran, me decidí a hacer el arroz negro que tan amablemente Bon Preu nos obsequió.

En el packaging pone que es para 1 ó 2 raciones. La verdad es que la cantidad de arroz realmente es para una persona, pero la cantidad de caldo es válida para dos raciones. (O es que yo soy una zampona, que también puede ser).
Con el arroz que viene en el pack llena 1/3 de un vaso y el caldo da para 4 veces esa medida.
Yo,  además de un poco más de arroz y caldo de pescado he añadido unos gambones y unos dados de calamar, aunque en el paquete del caldo también están añadidos unos trocitos. A mi los bichitos en el arroz, es lo que más me gusta.

La verdad es que es fácil de preparar, rápido y queda muy rico.
Además para rematar el almuerzo lo hemos acompañado de un vino rico rico. Como en muchas ocasiones hemos confiado en Bodegas Maset de Lleó. En esta ocasión Viña Selena, un vino tinto afrutado y con un toque semidulce aunque para nada empalagoso. Se recomienda para aperitivos y entrantes, pero aunque el arroz fuera de pescado, al ser un vino con un matiz muy sutil, nos ha ido de lujo.
Es el típico vino, para los amantes del blanco, que encuentran que los tintos son demasiado fuertes. Lo hemos tomado fresquito y oye, ni una gota ha sobrado…

Espero que esta semana sea un poco más tranquila que la pasada, aunque también más larga, laboralmente hablando.

Disfrutad de la semana!

Ingredientes:
– 1 cebolla mediana
– 1 pack de arroz negro Bon Preu  que lleva: un sobre de arroz que corresponde a 1/3 de vaso, 4 medidas de arroz (1/3 de vaso) de caldo de pescado con tinta de calamar y un calamar troceado y salteado.
– 1/3 de vaso de arroz
– 1/2 vaso de caldo de pescado
– 1 calamar troceado
– 6 gambones pelados
– Aceite de oliva
– Sal

Elaboración:
Dorar en un poco de aceite los dados de calamar y los gambones. Sólo un par de minutos. Reservar.
En la misma sartén, dorar la cebolla hasta caramelizar. Cuando necesite líquido incorporar un poquito de agua hasta que se absorva y la cebolla esté marroncita.
Incorporar entonces el arroz y rehogar un par de minutos, removiendo con una cuchara de madera.
Echar el caldoy dejar a fuego suave durante unos 20 min. Rectificar de sal si es necesario y dejar reposar 5 min con el fuego apagado y la cazuela tapada.
Servir.

*Si vas a hacer el arroz sin el pack Bon Preu, utiliza los mismos ingredientes pero añade dos sobre de tinta de calamar en un vaso de caldo y disuélvelo. Incorpora el caldo como en la receta, con la tinta disuelta. 
La cantidad de caldo es siempre el doble de la medida

de arroz más un poquito. Ej. 4 personas, 4 vasos de arroz (1/3 del vaso), y para el caldo, vas llenando 8 veces la misma medida del vaso que has llenado con el arroz y un vaso extra.

A mi también me ha parecido que el número de porciones que indica el paquete es excesivo para la cantidad que sale con el arroz que viene en la caja. Conste que no me lo he comido todo pero sólo porque la mitad que he dejado me va a solucionar la comida de mañana que si no…ahí iba a estar esperándome…jajaja.
